While they may only be with us for a small part of our lives, we are with them for their entire lives. They accompany us through the biggest and smallest moments in our lives.
Though my work is rooted in landscapes and nature, my dog is always part of my adventures, and that bond inspires how I approach every portrait: with care, tenderness, and deep respect for the relationship between humans and their animals.
A custom pet portrait is a timeless way to honor that connection—whether you’re celebrating a beloved companion or remembering one who has passed. Each commission is a one-of-a-kind artwork created to reflect your pet’s spirit, story, and the love you share.

FAQ's:
How much do portraits cost? The cost starts at $50 for a 5x7 and $100 for an 8x10. However, we can absolutely discuss different sizes and the cost will adjust based on the overall size.
How long does it take for me to get my portrait? The lead time for a pet portrait is about 2-4 weeks. If you want to do a rush order, we can certainly discuss that, though a small fee will apply.
What do I have to provide for the pet portrait? My best portraits happen when I feel like I know your pet. Please send a blurb about the pet, and photos and videos as well. There is no blurb too long -- the more information the better. And the photos and videos help give me an idea of their personality which can make their portraits come alive!
What types of photos are best? I base the pet portraits off of the photos you send me. The best are a clear photo of their face and/or body, without much else going on in the background. Good lighting is key and photos where I can see the details in their face are crucial.
I only see portraits of cats and dogs. Do you paint other pets? ABSOLUTELY! I have primarily painted cats and dogs, but I am open to all the animals you love. Bunnies, snakes, birds, lizards - bring. it. on. I would love to get to know them and paint you a keepsake.
